By Emmanuel Oladele - Denmark have reached 2022 FIFA World Cup with a 1-0 win over Austria on Tuesday, thanks to Joakim Mæhle 53rd minute strike.
Following the 1-0 win over Austria, Denmark have now recorded 24 points from 8 games to win Group F, which also has Scotland, Israel, Austria, Faroe Islands, and Moldova.
With two more games for each team in Group F, Scotland who is second with 17 points can only pick a maximum of 6 points from their remaining two games, which will only land them in 23 points behind group winners Denmark who currently have 24 points with two games to spare. See Group F log below;
Denmark are the third nation to reach Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup after host Qatar and Germany have already qualified.
The two remaining games for Denmark are dead rubber games. Congratulations to Denmark.
