Claudio Ranieri first Press Conference as Watford Head Coach

By Emmanuel Oladele - Former Premier League winner, Claudio Ranieri gave his first press conference on Wednesday afternoon as Watford Head Coach. Watford revealed all that were said by the former Leicester City coach in the press conference on their official social media page, which read as follows;

"Claudio Ranieri gave his first press conference as Watford Head Coach this afternoon! 🎙🇮🇹"

💬⏫ “The project is very good, very ambitious. I hope our link will be fantastic for Watford and for our fans. In sport, anything could happen. We have to achieve 40 points, and after 41, 42, 43...”

💬🧠 “I will put my philosophy. Every manager has his philosophy. Fortunately I have very good players and I hope they can follow me as soon as possible.”

💬🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 “My style when I was a player was very similar to English football: very tough, very strong, every duel. That's what I want with my players. I want them to play well...but also I want to see the spirit of England.”

The Italian will have his first assignment this weekend when Watford host Liverpool at Vicarage Road on Saturday in the premier league matchday 8.

Watford are currently 15th on the log, and have picked 7 points from a total of 7 games this season, the 69-year-old Ranieri will hope to turn things around for the team as he takes charge from this weekend.
