Super Eagles return to Nigeria after 2-1 win over Cape Verde, gets N20m from Air Peace

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Super Eagles arrived Nigeria on Wednesday afternoon from Cape Verde via Air Peace.

Recall that the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Cape Verde by 2-1 on Tuesday in a Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers matchday 2, thanks to Victor Osimhen strike and a own goal from Cape Verde Kenny Rocha Santos.

On arriving Nigeria, they were presented with the N20 million cheque as promised by Air Peace boss, Mr. Allen Onyema, as Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa received the cheque on behalf of the team.

Between today and tomorrow, foreign based stars are expected to fly back to their base.
