NNL Super 8: Remo Stars held Bendel Insurance to a 2-2 draw, secure promotion to NPFL

By Emmanuel Oladele - In the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 rescheduled Matchday 3 played today, Bendel Insurance held Remo Stars to a 2-2 draw.

The Matchday 3 was initially scheduled for Saturday, but was later rescheduled to Sunday morning. Following the 2-2 draw, Remo Stars have gained promotion into the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) after securing 5 points from their three games to go second in Group B Southern Conference.

On the other hand, Insurance earned just two points from their three games and finished in third position. They will be playing in the NNL next season for a possible promotion.
