Nigeria beat 11 times Champions to reach Women's AfroBasket final

By Emmanuel Oladele - The Nigeria National Women's Basketball Team, D'Tigress on Friday night defeated 11 times Champions Senegal by 73-63 points in the ongoing 25th edition of the FIBA Women's AfroBasket Championship currently holding in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

The Nigerians won the first quarter till the 3rd quarter, but lost narrowly in the fourth quarter, the wins from the first three quarters were enough to book a place in the Championship final. See details below;

Nigeria will now face Mali in the final on Saturday, September 25. Mali defeated host Cameroon in another semi-final by 52-51 points to book a date with Nigeria in the final.
