By Emmanuel Oladele - D'Tigress of Nigeria on Sunday evening defeated Mali by 70-59 points at the FIBA Women's AfroBasket Championship in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
The Nigerians won the first quarter of the game by 22-11 points, while the Malians takes a revenge in the second quarter, winning the quarter with 13-9 points. At half-time, it's 31-24 points in favour of D'Tigress.
In the third quarter, it was a massive win for the Nigerians, they dominated the quarter, winning with 28-14 points.
The Malians came into the fourth quarter with so much determination to turn the game around in their favour, though, they put up a good performance winning the quarter with 21-11 points, but not enough to redeem their image. At Full time, it's Mali 59-70 Nigeria, so it ended at the City Arena in Yaoundé, Cameroon, FIBA Women's AfroBasket Championship final.
