By Emmanuel Oladele - Two Nigerian clubs will be in action this weekend in the first preliminary round of the 2021/22 season CAF Champions League. The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) Champions Akwa United and runner up Rivers United are the two teams representing Nigeria in the competition.
Akwa United will on Sunday lock horns with CR Belouizdad of Algeria at the Godwill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo in the first preliminary round leg 1 of 2.
Another Nigerian representative, Rivers United will trade tackles with Young Africans of Tanzania at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium in Dar es Salaam. See details of both matches below;DETAILS
