The event was spiced up with different cultural display of Yoruba Culture. In attendance were, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and many other big guns. The Opening game also took place on Wednesday at same venue with Super Falcons of Nigeria defeating Mali by 2-0, thanks to Gift Monday's brace that sealed the victory for Nigeria.
