2021 Women's AfroBasket: Nigeria book Semi-Final place after quarter-final win over Cote d'Ivoire

By Emmanuel Oladele - D'Tigress of Nigeria on Thursday booked their place in the semi-final of the ongoing 2021 Women's AfroBasket Championship. The Nigerians defeated Cote d'Ivoire by 72-56 points in the quarter-final at the City Arena in Yaoundé.

D'Tigress of Nigeria will now face Senegal today Friday September 24 in the Semi-final at the City Arena in Yaoundé, Cameroon. The game kickoff time is 20:00 (+1 GMT).

Senegal is the most successful team in the competition since 1966, winning 11 titles, but will face Nigeria with just four titles today, it's going to be a tough encounter.
