Rivers Utd List 3SC, 10 Others for Pre-season Tourney

High riding Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan, have been invited to participate in a pre- season tournament, being packaged by Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, Rivers United of Porr- Harcourt.

In a letter, dated, 23rd August, 2021 which was signed by the Secretary of Rivers United, Ahmed Abdurahman, the organisers of the proposed tourney, said they decided to package it specificaly for teams representing Nigeria on the continent this year and for all the NNL clubs that will participate in the NNL playoff.

Apart from the Oluyole Warriors, other teams invited include, NPFL winner, Akwa United, FA Cup champions, Bayelsa United, Enyimba FC of Aba and Abia Warriors FC.

The rest are Ekiti United, Niger Tornadoes, Remo Stars, Insurance of Benin, Gombe United and DMD FC.

Host, Rivers United completes the list of the 12- team tourney which date has not been fixed yet.
