By Emmanuel Oladele - According to the report received from Porto-Novo on Friday's night, Benin Republic FA are coming up with some dirty antics to get results against Nigeria at all cost.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are expected to trade tackles with Benin on Saturday in an Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier, but the FA of Benin have embarked on a dirty antics by putting off the stadium floodlight when the Eagles of Nigeria were supposed to be training and moreover preventing journalists from Nigeria to gain entrance into the Stadium.
A Nigeria photo journalist, Adeniyi Muyiwa who is currently in Benin confirmed the ugly incident, "As at this period, the Super Eagles of Nigeria were still having their training session. The journalist were supposed to have at least 15mins coverage grace. Unfortunately, the Benin Republic FA insttucted their security to shut us out. We were denied access to cover the training.
The beauty of these images was that, the players trained without the floodlight on. And there was light in the stadium," Muyiwa posted on Social Media. The photo journalist also took some photos out the stadium;
To add to this team Nigeria trainer in darkness for close to one hour at the stadium with Benin FA leaving them in darkness. Yes the flood lights were off and the team still were inside for atleast 30 mins after this video
