Rohr Invites Another Attacker For Benin Rep and Lesotho

By Olamide Oyetunji - Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr has invited Enyimba attacker Anayo Iwuala for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, Enyimba FC attacking outlet Anayo Iwuala has been invited to replace Sadiq Umar for Benin Rep. and Lesotho clashes. 

Sadiq Umar of Almeria is the third player to withdraw from the ties.

It must be recalled that few days ago, the uncertainty regarding the availability of players based in France (due to COVID 19 laws guiding the country) made Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr extend invitation to KRC Genk striker Paul Onuachu. 

Henry Onyekuru was also called up to replace injured Samuel Kalu.

Anayo Iwuala who can operate as winger is the second Enyimba star called for the AFCON qualifiers after goalkeeper John Noble.
