By Emmanuel Oladele - After the conclusion of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) matchday 10, Bayelsa Queens are now four point clear at the top of the log, following their 1-0 win over Pelican Stars in Yenagoa on Wednesday. A defeat for Rivers Angels in Lagos on Wednesday extended the margin between the Port-Harcourt based team and league leaders Bayelsa Queens.
Bayelsa Queens now has 25 points from 10 games, behind them is Rivers Angels FC with 21 points. Edo Queens, Delta Queens and FC Robo are in third, fourth and fifth position respectively.
At the bottom of the log are DreamStar Ladies and Abia Angels who have only picked four points each from 10 games. See the league log below;
