NPFL MD 17: Rangers pip Nasarawa Utd In Enugu, moves second place on the Log

By Taofeek Adebayo - The NPFL action returned on Monday afternoon as Rangers defeated the Solid Miners to move second place on the NPFL log. The Flying Antelopes dazzled with a brilliant performance against their opponent in their Matchday 17 encounter of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), which ended 2-0 in their favour.

Two Goals scored by Godspower Aniefiok and Chinonso Eziekwe in the early minutes of the game, 2nd and 9th minute respectively, saw the Solid Miners (Nassarawa UTD) relinquished to the Flying Antelopes.

Meanwhile, Nasarawa United also did everything to get themselves back into the game by creating some great chances but Rangers vitality denied the Lafia based team to no avail.

The match ended in favour of Rangers who are now second on the NPFL log with 30 points, as United slip down to 6th position.

After the entire game time, it's Enugu Rangers 2-0 Nasarawa United, so it ended at the Cathedral.
