At the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, Kano Pillars defeated Heartland by 2-1, as Rivers United return to winning ways with a 1-0 win over struggling Sunshine Stars.

In another game, Enugu Rangers fell to a 2-1 defeat in the hand of Plateau United. At the Delta State Polytechnic Stadium in Ozoro, Warrior Wolves thrashed FC Ifeanyi Ubah, 3-1 it ended in favour of the Seasiders. See all results of NPFL games played on Sunday;
