SAD! Players and Officials of Adamawa United FC robbed on their way to Lagos

By Emmanuel Oladele - Players and Officials of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Adamawa United have been robbed on their way to Lagos for their NPFL matchday 11 against MFM FC.

The team were robbed on Friday's night at about 11:45PM around Benin-Ore Expressway. A lot of valuables such as; phones, money and others were collected from the players and officials on board.

The most painful part of the matter, is the team driver who was abducted by the criminals in the process of the robbery, and has not been released as at the time of writing this news.

Adamawa United FC are at the bottom of NPFL log with just three points from ten games.
