Results of Games played in the NPFL on Saturday and Sunday

By Emmanuel Oladele - Eight games were played in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) on Saturday and Sunday which are matchday 9 fixtures. On Saturday, Enyimba defeated Plateau United by 2-1 at the Enyimba International Stadium.

On Sunday, Akwa United beat Katsina United by 3-0 as Warri Wolves were handed a 1-0 defeat by Rangers. In another game, Kwara United stunned Sunshine Stars with a 2-1 defeat at the Akure Sport Complex.
