Premier League: Chelsea beat Newcastle to go fourth

By Emmanuel Oladele - Chelsea on Monday's night defeated Newcastle United to go fourth on the English Premier League log, 2-0 it ended in favour of the Blues.

Goals from Olivier Giroud and Timo Werner in the 31st and 39th minutes respectively gave Thomas Tuchel led side the deserved victory of the night. The second half of the encounter did not produced any goal, but the Blues did well to keep their 2-0 lead until the last minute of the encounter.

Chelsea are now back in the premier league top four after the 2-0 victory over visitors, Newcastle United.

Chelsea have now won a total of four premier league games in a row, the last time they had that, was in November under manager Frank Lampard when then won 6 games in a row.

After the entire game time, it's Chelsea 2-0 Newcastle United, so it ended at Stamford Bridge in premier league matchday 24.
