Kelechi Iheanacho score first premier league goal of the season as Leicester defeat Fulham at Craven Cottage

By Emmanuel Oladele - Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho on Wednesday evening scored his first premier league goal of the season as the Foxes defeated Fulham by 2-0.

The Nigeria international led the Foxes attack following the absence of Jamie Vardy and gave Brendan Rodgers led side a 1-0 lead in the 17th minute of the first half. Leicester wing-back James Justin doubled the lead for the Foxes in the 44th minute to end the first half 2-0 in favour of Iheanacho's team.

The second half of the encounter produced no goal.

On the other hand, Super Eagles wing-back Ola Aina was in action for the entire duration of the game for Fulham but could not prevent his team's 2-0 loss.

Two uncapped Nigerians, Tosin Adarabioyo and Ademola Lookman were also in action for Fulham.

After the entire game time, it's Fulham 0-2 Leicester City, so it ended at Craven Cottage in the premier league matchday 22.
