By Emmanuel Oladele - Following Golden Eaglets lucky qualification to WAFU U-17 Tournament semi-final, they will now face Burkina Faso in the semi-final as they hope to pick the tournament final ticket. Playing Burkina Faso which top group A will be a tough challenge for the young eagles.
On the other hand, Cote D'Ivoire which top group B will face Niger as Togo have been disqualified from the competition after two of their players failed MRI test. Togo are the host of the tournament but cannot proceed due to disqualification.
The semi-final game between Nigeria and Burkina Faso comes up this Friday 15th of January at 5:00PM (Nigeria Time) while the second semi-final game between Côte D'Ivoire and Niger comes up by 8:00PM (Nigeria Time) same day.
The winners of the semifinals will qualify for the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations which will hold in Morocco from 13th to 31st of March.
Moreover, the final of the ongoing WAFU U-17 tournament in Togo will hold on Wednesday 20th January, 2020.
