NPFL Star Omojesu join Latvian Club Spartaks Jurmala

By Oladele Emmanuel - Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) forward Oluwatimileyin Ogunniyi Abiodun popularly called Omojesu has joined Latvia club Spartak Jurmala from Sunshine Stars FC of Akure.

Nigfooty.com gathered that the player was signed for €10,000.

The 19-year-old forward scored the only goal that gave Sunshine Stars a 1-0 victory over visitors FC Ifeanyi Ubah via a well taken free-kick last weekend.

Omojesu is one of the NPFL sensations in the new season and before now he has been tipped to make huge impact in the league but he will no longer be playing in the Nigeria League but for a European club.

The deal will bring a huge cash to the bank of Akure Gunners.

Latvia League will resume in February, but will need to join his new team in Latvia later this month for season preparations.
