Gbas Gbos in Football Match as Referee Was Beaten For Adding Only Three Minutes

By Olamide Oyetunji - The life of Nigerian referee was at risk in a football match in Ogun State.

Young referee Ogunbayo Eebrahim was attacked by a team for failing to add more than three minutes in the knockout game of a tournament.

According to his Facebook post, the SEMI-FINAL FIXTURE in the ongoing Wasimi Summer Camp Championship in Ogun State.


Chosen Generation Vs EJELE FC

EJELE FC of Delta State was down to a goal scored 10minutes to the end of the game. With 3minutes addition time to 40minutes of each half, the Warri boys saw a corner kick that turn to be an equaliser from an own-goal from the opponent Chosen Generation (Host team) as at 42.58minutes.

The Home team Coach along with the fans entered the field and later injured the center referee.


His decision:- 

The team (EJELE FC of Delta) qualified automatically to final to play ALLEN TAYLOR of Ogun State in Final after they defeated IFO United 1-0 in the second Semi-Final.

Hence, Choosen Generation are out of the tournament due to their hooliganism and unsporting behaviors.
