1. Some of the players are not impressed by the selection of some certain players to play out of position just like in the case of Kevin Akpoguma as Right back with Ola Aina and Tyronne Ebuehi more naturally suited.

Sierra Leone made three substitutions while Gernot Rohr was only bothered about introducing tall players like Paul Onuachu and Semi Ajayi into the game with Sierra Leone having the zeal and momentum to come at Nigerian defence.

3. Gernot Rohr has also been accused of not consulting the members of his technical crew in terms of players selection or when naming his starting eleven but will rather ask for the input of some dressing room leaders like the most capped player in 2019, two defenders and an experienced attacker.
