WAFU U-20: Togo Postpone Tournament For Covid-19

By Olamide Oyetunji - WAFU B U20 tournament scheduled to hold 18th November (next week) in Togo has been postponed.

"The Togolese Football Federation informs the sporting world that the U-20 Tournament of UFOA B, scheduled for Lomé, from November 18 to December 2, 2020, is postponed to a later date by decision of the Togolese Government.

This decision follows the resurgence of positive cases for COVID-19 that Togo has been experiencing in recent days, whose outbreaks are located in the Grand Lomé area.

Discussions will continue with the Union of West African Football Federations (UFOA B) and the African Football Confederation (CAF) with a view to agreeing on a new proposal for dates, while taking into account the evolution of the health situation in our country.

The Togolese Football Federation offers its sincere apologies to all stakeholders in this tournament for the inconvenience caused by this postponement."
