Super Eagles vs Leone Stars: Sierra Leone Arrives Benin City With 43 People

By Olamide Oyetunji - The Leone Stars of Sierra Leone players and their officials arrived Benin City on Wednesday evening ahead of Friday’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Anderlecht attacker Mustapha Bundu, Finland-based experienced midfielder Mohamed Medo Kamara, Orebro SK left-back Kevin Wright, Queens Park Rangers right-back Osman Kakay have all arrived the country through the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos on Wednesday afternoon aboard an ASKY Airline flight from Freetown.

Former Milan midfielder Rodney Strasser, Randers striker Alhaji Kamara and LA Galaxy top scorer Augustine Williams are all part of the 43-man delegation that comprises majorly 23 players and technical crew.

The delegation are presently in a Luxurious Hotel 'Lushville Hotel" in Benin, Edo state.

Sierra Leone are desperate to get their 2021 AFCON qualification campaign back on track after amassing just one point from their opening two games.

John Keister tutored side occupy last position in Group L.
