Super Eagles Coach Drops Moses Simon For Onuachu

By Olamide Oyetunji - Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr has made an emergency adjustment to the list of invited players for the upcoming international encounters with Sierra Leone.

Nantes FC winger Moses Simon has unfortunately suffered an injury which means he won't be available for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers coming up this month.

The brave diminutive attacker was substituted in the first half of a French Ligue 1 fixture involving PSG and Nantes over the weekend.

Belgium based striker Paul Ebere Onuachu has been removed from standby and subsequently added to the team at the expense of Moses Simon.

In total, the Franco-German manager has called up 24 players for the double header African Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone.

No update regarding Sebastian Osigwe who was reported to have tested positive to covid-19 while Kenneth Omeruo also limped out of the pitch while on duty with Leganes.
