Super Eagles Camp: Onuachu Present, Osimhen Still Absent

By Olamide Oyetunji - The Nigeria male national team camp is now alive as many players have made their grande entrance into their Hotel in Benin City for the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers versus Sierra

Three more players have registered their presence into the honourable gathering on Wednesday morning as Villarreal winger Samuel Chukwueze, Genk of Belgium highest goal scorer Paul Onuachu alongside Russian based talented dribbler Chidera Ejuke are the latest to feel the warm hugs.

With the latest development, it has now increased the number of players in the national team camp to 19 with the trio of Jamilu Collins, Semi Ajayi and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen expected to complete the number of invited players.

The Super Eagles and the technical crew had a feel of the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium pitch for the first time on Tuesday evening and another training session will be conducted on Wednesday.

Ahmed Musa, William Troost-Ekong, Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Joe Aribo, Leon Balogun, Kevin Akpoguma, Sebastian Osigwe, Zaidu Sanusi, Tyronne Ebuehi, Etebo Oghenekaro, Maduka Okoye, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Chidozie Awaziem, Kelechi Iheanacho, Emmanuel Dennis, Chidera Ejuke, Samuel Chukwueze, Paul Onuachu.

The first leg of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Sierra Leone will be played on Friday inside the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium by 5pm Nigerian time.
