Junior Khanye - SAFA needs a reshuffle

By Deon Baloyi - Sky Football Magazine  South Africa's famous analyst Junior Khanye has criticized the structure and way of doing things in SAFA - South African Football Association and calls for a reshuffle.

"We had friendly matches against Namibia and Zambia and many local players were selected for that encounter. Mokotjo, Furman and Zungu were not there. Why didn't he select majority of the players that played these games, the likes of Mvala just to build their confidence."

"The coach then selects new players, different players from the team that drew with Namibia and lost to Zambia, why is he doing this?

"The tactical team itself is not a good one, we need changes as soon as possible because there's no direction here." said the legend.   " South Africa needs a smart coach, a tactical coach who is going to use a system from the development team to the senior team. I'm not happy with what South Africa did today."

"We should not be afraid to voice our concerns, the coach makes questionable selections, Manyama as a striker. My problem with Manyama is that he's a forward player but he can't take on players, his body is big but he falls down easily, having a good technique doesn't make a player complete."

"I've received threats from people telling me that I should stop talking about Manyama, I don't hate Manyama, I want him to be better because there's potential, he only becomes the man of the match when he takes corner kicks and free kicks, that's not football. You can't make such a player a captain. Vincent Pule has been better than Manyama for the past few games but you put him in the bench and play Manyama."
