By Joe Precursor - Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has opened up to the media about the current performance of his team and he believes that they will win their next match against KZN outfit Golden Arrows.
"We had the International break, we wanted it to be honest, after the derby defeat everyone in the team was not himself, everyone was very devastated."
"It's now all in the past, the league has just started, we want to go for trophies and we believe that this is the season for that to happen, I mean everyone who was there when we finished second last season is still here, so there's no need to fuss about anything."
"The defeat against Pirates, I think it was because of the advantage that they had against us, 3-0 lead against a team of their quality is hard, they won't come at you they want you to come at them and they just couldn't let us have our way and it resulted in a 2-0 defeat but we rise and move on to the next match against Arrows."
"We need to win against Arrows, it's important, it's a must. We have a big number of people who are behind us and they don't deserve such disappointments, but over the years you've been with us when we won trophies, be with us in times of struggle, we will get better. It almost happened, it will happen soon."
