By Olamide Oyetunji - Former Super Eagles skipper Joseph Yobo has expressed some reservations towards Super Eagles maintaining their one hundred percent record in the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations series.
Nigeria are currently topping Group L with six points from two matches after victories against Benin Republic and Lesotho in November 2019.
However, the Gernot Rohr tutored team will face Sierra Leone inside the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium on Friday in one of the double-headers and many are optimistic Nigeria will come out top.
Super Eagles assistant coach Joseph Yobo is a fresh addition to the technical crew and he has highlighted the significance and the importance of winning the first leg in Benin City.
"When you play at home, it's important you play well and win.
"When you play away, especially against Sierra Leone, it is a difficult place to go to."
"All we have at this moment is the first game at home. I believe our performance will give us the three points."
Joseph Yobo is a 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winning captain and Nigeria's joint record appearance holder with 101 feathers to his cap.
