"It is our Naija spirit to overcome" - Super Eagles 'Oyinbo Wall' Gives Motivational Speeches

By Olamide Oyetunji - Super Eagles played a disappointing 4-4 draw with Leone Stars of Sierra Leone and the whole drama really taken it toll on the mood inside the Nigeria's dressing room.

The aftermath of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying result inside the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium is not giving the players the normal exciting morale especially on social media.

Alexander Iwobi who scored two of the goals yesterday was the only person that has the confidence to apologize to Nigerians but a video has also gone viral which was made by Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa having some reservations about their display.

It is now the turn of defender Leon Balogun to react to the shocking result and to also give some motivational speech about what the way forward.


"Lesson to learn from last night: never let success get to your head and never let failure get to your heart. We will come out on top of this"

To his credit, Leon Aderemi Balogun was solid on the night but his substitution due to injury was a game changer as a 4-1 scoreline dramatically changed to 4-4 at the end of regulation time.


Assistant skipper, William Troost-Ekong also said something similar on Facebook.
