The latest round of matches in the Premier League saw Fulham welcome struggling West Bromwich Albion to the Craven Cottage in a matchday seven fixture.
Fulham Coach Scott Parker featured Nigerian trio of Olaoluwa Aina, Ademola Lookman and Tosin Adarabioyo in the starting eleven for the host.
The home team opened the scoring Bobby De Cordova-Reid in the 26th minutes with Aleksandar Mitrovic assisting through a header.
Fulham doubled their advantage four minutes later through former Chelsea defender Ola Aina who stormed the edge of the box through an inviting ball from the laid down by Mitrovic before unleashing a rocket into the roof of the net with his weaker left foot.
Ola Aina who is on a loan spell from Italian outfit Torino is the first Super Eagles player to score in the English Premier League this season with Kelechi Iheanacho and Alex Iwobi yet to open their accounts with Leicester City and Everton respectively for this stanza.
It must be recalled that Ademola Lookman was on the scorers sheet few weeks ago but he has not officially concluded his international switch to the Nigerian national team.
