Young Nigerian Author Set to Launch Coaching Book, Begs Sports Ministry and NFF For Support

eading books is very important for the personal development of a person because it exposes you to new ideas, perspectives, and literary while there is a popular quote that says "Knowledge is Power".

Books give plenty of joy to people with reading culture as it take them into a unique world of imagination and improves their standard of living. 

However, it is something special to author a book at a very young age.

Talented Sport author who goes by the name Kehinde Idowu Samuel has Published a Coaching book titled "Gunning from The Dugout".

The 21-year-old who is a native of Oyo State and also a naturally gifted tactical football philosopher sat down with Nigfooty.com reporter Olamide Sunday Oyetunji for a short interview about his book.


Olamide: When are you launching the book?

Kehinde Idowu: I plan on soliciting support of Sport Ministry, concerning the launching. So it'll be launched once they respond.

Olamide: What is the aim and objective of this book?

Kehinde Idowu: To further equip the man-management area of football with advanced Tactics. The book also bring new profound ideas into tactical football.

Olamide: How many copies will be available after launch?

Kehinde Idowu: Over 1000 copies will be available after the launch, including online ways of getting the book too.

PDFs of Gunning from the Dugout will also be made available online, and the book will be available on virtually all online bookshops too.

Olamide: Let us talk about price, How much per copy?

Kehinde Idowu: It will be around 3500 Naira per copy.

Olamide: Talking about the relevant authorities, the NFF and Sports ministry. Have you contacted them and what is their response so far?

Kehinde Idowu: I have contacted the Sport Ministry at Oyo State. The honourable Commissioner commended the book and asked for it to be staged after the recent EndSars turmoil in the country. I have also tried reaching the minister For Sport and the Ministry through twitter, but no response yet.

Olamide: Any approach to the Nigeria Football Federation?

Kehinde Idowu: None as of now.
