Unwarranted Salary Deduction: Osun State Sports Council's GM to submit all documents relating to Salary Payment for Players and Coaches today

By Oladele Emmanuel - Following the unjustified deduction of salaries of Players and coaches of Osun United and Osun Babes from the month of July to September 2020, the General Manager of Osun State Sports Council, Mr. Rotimi Dunmoyo and the Accountant of the Council Mr. Tajudeen Oduola are expected to submit all documents relating to the payment of salaries to the House Committee on Youth and Sports head by Hon. Adirulahi Adegbile today, Wednesday 7th of October.

The huge deduction in salaries of players and coaches has been described as unjustified by the House Committe on Youth and Sports.

Recall, in August, Governor Gboyega Oyetola approved the payment of salaries to all players, technical crew of Osun United and Babes, also active athletes and contracted coaches who were suspended in July.

The deduction affected all Osun United players and Coaches, Osun Babes Players and Coaches.

The Lawmakers have promised to investigate the matter and bring solution even as the Sports Council will submit all documents relating to payment of salaries and reason for the huge deduction today.
