"Selection of Super Eagles Players For Afcon Qualifiers Will Be Difficult" - Gernot Rohr

Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr has come out to state categorical that selection of players for the next international engagement will be tough.

Speaking through the media channel of the team, the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations bronze winning Coach stated that there are some positives to take from the friendly matches that ended in a defeat and draw against Algeria and Tunisia respectively.

"We have some positives to pick out from the games because inspite of missing some key players we still competed well. 

"Now it is going to be difficult for me to pick our list for the AFCON qualifiers next month because of the new boys who did well."

Nigeria will play Sierra Leone in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double header in November.
