Russian Footballer Set For Super Eagles Return

The Head Coach of the Nigeria national team Gernot Rohr is expected to unveil the names of players for the three matches scheduled for the month of November.

Gernot Rohr who is currently experiencing his second stint as the Super Eagles coach will prosecute his third, fourth and fifth matches in the year 2020 and such will require a long list of players.

The inactivity of the Nigeria Professional Football League means the gaffer will focus purely on European based players in his selection again just like in the last international window.

Forgotten left back Bryan Idowu could be under consideration again following his current form at club level with Khimkhi in the Russian Premier League.

The 28-year-old sent a reminder to the Super Eagles coaching crew when he wrapped up the scoring for FC Khimkhi in their 2-0 Russian Premier League win over FC Rostov over the weekend.

Bryan "Oladapo" Idowu has played for his club eleven times this season scoring twice and that could be enough for an invitation for the Africa Cup of Nations qualification double-header with Sierra Leone and a friendly against Liberia.
