The 26-year-old made a return to his Belgian club with a bang as he scored on of the goal in KRC Genk 2-1 victory over Victor Osimhen's former team Charleroi inside the Luminus Arena.
It is his number eight goal in as many games this season for the Smurfs and he has been the most reliable striker for Jess Thorup tutored team.
Meanwhile, another Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers was in the Genk's team list but didn't see any minutes.
It must be recalled that the Super Eagles fans prefers Cyriel Dessers to Paul Onuachu as the national team deputy striker to Victor Osimhen.
It is left to be seen if Coach Gernot Rohr will still invite Paul Onuachu in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Sierra Leone next month after his assumed poor performance versus Algeria.
