By Emmanuel Oladele - Chelsea Women have signed Wolfsburg star Pernille Harder for a record fee, though the fee was undisclosed but Wolfsburg Women's Sports Director Ralf Kellermann has described the deal as "a record transfer fee in women's football."
The Denmark Captain was instrumental to Wolfsburg success in the just concluded UEFA Women's Champions League, reaching the final before losing the title to Lyon. She also captained the German side in the final.
The 27-year-old signed a 3-year deal with WSL Champions.
While with Wolfsburg, the forward helped the club win four consecutive German league and two German Cup since joining the club in 2017.
The Denmark International was also named UEFA player of the Year in 2018.
