Wikki-Tourists sign former Olympiakos Nicosia defender

By Emmanuel Oladele - Wikki-Tourists have signed former Olympiakos Nicosia defender Jamiu Alimi from Sunshine Stars.

The 27-year-old is one of the most experienced footballers in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL), having played for Sharks (Rivers United), Shooting Stars, Kano Pillars, Akwa United and El-Kanemi Warriors before joining Sunshine Stars FC.

He has also played for two clubs in Europe, Sports Club Tavriya of Ukraine and Olympiakos Nicosia of Cyprus. He has also played for the Nigeria Home-based Eagles.

His wealth of experience will bring more strength to the defence of the Bauchi-based team.
