Recall that Omeruo's current club CD Leganés have been relegated into the Segunda Division of the the Spanish League after failing to secure their La Liga spot in the just concluded season.

According to reports, SD Huesca have a low transfer budget for the upcoming season and are only targeting players in relegated teams, Espanyol, Mallorca and Leganés as they seek to improve their squad for La Liga 2020/2021 League Season.
