By Emmanuel Oladele - Former Nigeria Flying Eagles Goalkeeper Sebastian Osigwe has join Swiss Super League club FC Lugano.
The 26-year-old joined FC Lugano as a free agent after his contract with SC Kriens expired at the end of 2019/2020 season and will remain with the Swiss Giants until the end of 2022-2023 League season.
Sebastian Osigwe has a Nigerian Father and a Swiss Mother but represented Nigeria U-20 National Team at the 2013 Toulon Tournament held in France, he featured in the game where Nigeria played a 1-1 draw with Belgium.
Osigwe joining FC Lugano may bring a revival to his career and could receive a call-up into the Super Eagles by Coach Gernot Rohr.
The Swiss-born shot stopper has also played for different clubs in Switzerland - FC Emmenbrücke, Zug 94 and SC Kriens.
