By Oladele Emmanuel - The June 17 restart date of the English Premier League gets another boost as no positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded from the latest round of Premier League testing that was conducted on Thursday 4th June and Friday 5th June.
This is the sixth screening session and a total of 1,195 which includes players and club personnel were tested and no positive cases were recorded. This is the second time the testing will yield no positive results.
The news was confirmed in a statement released by the League, "the Premier League can confirmed that on Thursday 4 June and Friday 5 June, 1,195 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19. Of these, zero have tested positive."
