The deficit Chelsea may never overturn

Chelsea will return to the UEFA Champions League when football activities return in Europe. The Blues are currently in the round of 16 and have recorded a huge deficit of three goals after the first leg fixture between them and Bundesliga Giants, Bayern Munich, the game which ended 3-0 at Stamford Bridge in favour of the German Team.

The 3-0 deficit at Stamford Bridge will be very difficult for Frank Lampard led side to overturn when they meet the 2012 finalist in the round of 16 second leg at the Allianz Arena.

The Hans-Dieter Flick led side were having a superb run of form before league suspension due to COVID-19, they will only have little to do and finish the job they started at the Stamford Bridge.

It is clear that the Bundesliga will be resuming before the English Premier League, this will help Bayern players to have return to full fitness ahead of Chelsea, everything going the way of the German side and Chelsea may never comeback in this case.
