By Ilekhuoba Taiye - Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa has disclosed that frequent changes of coaches is behind the real reason why former Leicester teammate, Daniel Amartey is struggling at Leicester City.
The Ghanian international relished steady football under manager Claudio Ranieri and Claude Puel but his return from his long term injury has altered his game time for the worse under Brendan Rodgers.
Speaking to TV3's Juliet Bawuah in an Instagram interview, the forward stated that one's performance does not influence one's future in the game but one's fate lies with the coaches.
"Is not about your performance, as you can see my friend Daniel (Amartey) from Ghana, as you can see he played a lot of games at Leicester but nowadays he is not playing so are you going to say he is not performing well? Why was he playing then and why is he not playing now".
"So like I said different coaches like the way you play, some like the way you play, some don't like the way you play. The only thing is to have another better place to go."
Musa and Amartey were teammates before the Nigerian international proceeded his club career to Al Nasser in Saudi Arabia after an unadventurous season with the foxes. Al Nassar is second on the Saudi Arabian league table with 45 points from 22 games behind league leaders, Al Hilal who have recorded 51 points from 22 games.
