Arsenal want Basel Defender

By Oladele Emmanuel - According to Fanatik, a Turkish media outlet, Arsenal are interested in signing Basel defender, Eray Ervin Comert.

Mikel Arsenal is working ahead of the summer to bolster his squad, most especially his defence and the manager is considering the option of bringing in Eray Comert, but will have to battle Galatasaray who is said to be leading the race to sign the 22-year-old.

The centre-back is a product of Basel youth team and has played for Switzerland at the U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-21. The Swiss has also made one appearance for the national team of Switzerland.
