WWE Superstars Celebrates Nigerian Wrestler For Monday Night Raw Draft and Performance

By Olamide Oyetunji - Nigerian-American wrestler Apollo Crews is enjoying the rave for the first time in a long while as a WWE performer coming after missing out of competing at World Wrestling Entertainment, WrestleMania 36, Apollo Crews was back in action on Monday night to rewrite his wrongs and to try and repair his reputation on the main roster.

As noted, this week's first night after WrestleMania 36 WWE RAW episode saw Apollo Crews return to the red brand from SmackDown. He wrestled Aleister Black in a very tight lengthy match but still lost.
The major decision to move Crews back to RAW was made last week, according to reports and the Apollo Crews versus Aleiser Black was recorded last Friday at the empty WWE Performance Center, separate from the rest of the RAW tapings for broadcast on the USA Network and WWE Network.
The official storyline behind Apollo's roster change as mentioned by Tom Phillips during the commentary, was that he was brought back to RAW via Draft picks that were about to expire which simply means options were little and limited.
Crews was moved to SmackDown in the 2019 Superstar Shakeup twelve months ago and stayed on the blue brand through the 2019 WWE Draft in the fall. He is now officially back on the RAW roster now.

Crews has not made a backstage comment on his return to the red brand, but he has been active on social media platform Twitter under official WWE tweet that said Crews was putting on a "statement match" in the bout against Black.

In the end, Apollo Crews was proud of his performance and he went social media to mention his latest status and was celebrated and supported by fellow WWE Superstars on the Raw brand with the likes of Kevin Owens, Peyton Royce of "The IIconics" alongside tag team partner Billie Kay which Crews re-tweeted comments as seen below.
