Nigeria Professional Football League side Abia Warriors on Friday evening took to their official Facebook page to announce that Charles Tambe the team goalkeeper who was shot in Ibadan on Friday morning is now in a stable condition at the UCH where he's currently receiving treatment.
The post made on the Club official Facebook page read as follows, "our goalkeeper Charles Tambe who was shot by hoodlums this morning in Ibadan is in a stable condition.
We have reached out to him, he is in a stable condition at the UCH.
The Doctors are giving him adequate attention and treatments at the moment.
He is in his normal high spirit, and hopefully by Saturday, the Doctors will give us further directives.
Thank you all for all your concerns and prayers."
The Nigeria Professional Football League is just recovering from the tragedies that befell her in recent weeks and from all of us at Nigeria Football and Others Media, we wish Charles Tambe a quick recovery.
