By Oladele Emmanuel - The FIFA Club World Cup is an International tournament organised by FIFA and winners from each six continents Champions Leagues participates together with the league Champions of the host country.
The 2010 edition which was the 7th edition of the tournament had an African Club in the final, making it the first time that an African club will play in the final, it no other African team than TP Mazembe of DR. Congo as the Champions of Africa, they played Inter Milan in the final and were defeated by 3-0 as the European Champions were crowned winner of the 2010 FIFA Club World Club, a tournament that was held in UAE.
Since TP Mazembe feat in 2010, no other African club has reached the FIFA Club World Cup final. The tournament was played between December 8 to 18, 2010, featuring seven teams from six Confederations.
