The famous English Premier League is set to lose big if the current season can not be completed.
According to a letter written to Julian Knight Parliamentary Sports Committee Chairman by Premier League Chief Executive Richard Masters in a bid to defend furloughing staff of some English Premier League Club.
In the letter, Masters also revealed that the Premier League will lose at least £1billion if the 2019/2020 league season is cancelled with some games left to be played.
Recalled that the season is currently on suspension due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and resumption date still uncertain, though report claims that league top officials are already in talks with the government to allow the remaining games to be played behind-closed-door in June. £1billion loss will be massive for the English Premier League if the season is not completed.
