By Ilekhuoba Taiye - Also known as Rinsola Babajide is an English women’s footballer who has established herself as a key forward for Liverpool ladies this season.
Rinsola came into limelight in 2016 after notching 14 goals for the East London Women’s football team in an unofficial game which ended 40-0 against the women’s football team of the University College, London.
At club level, she had previously played for Millwall Lionesses and Watford Ladies and currently with Liverpool ladies as she joined the fold in January 2018.
She has proved herself as a key figure for the team this season after scoring 7 goals in all appearances.
Her scorching form rewarded her with Liverpool women player of the month award for January.
The 21-year-old remains eligible to represent Nigeria through her Nigerian roots as she has already featured for England at U-20 level aiding England’s quest for bronze at the 2018 U-20 Women’s World Cup.
